Mining Machinery Repair and Rebuild
Our
primary facility, for heavy machinery and Continuous Miner rebuilds, is located
in Westover, WV. Four large bays help divide the repair process into teardown
and cleaning, evaluation and repair routing , then the receiving and reassembly
of components for the finished product. This facility has 17,000sq.ft. of work
area.
Our
Fairmont, WV facility is used for lighter weight machinery repairs, structural
steel and plate fabrication, welding and sandblasting. This facility has
45,000sq.ft. of work area.
We provide complete repair services, for a wide variety of underground mining
equipment. Pictured below are examples of recently finished machines.

Steel Plate and Structural Fabrication
Our plate processing is performed with the help of a CNC Oxy-Fuel Cutting
Machine, 3/4"X12' Shear and a 400 Ton Press Brake.

Machining Services

Our
Machine Shop is located in Westover, WV. It has two 40' bays with 8,000sq.ft. of
floor space.
We
have a Niles Floor Mill, with a 22' horizontal X 7' vertical travel and a 30 ton
weight capacity. This allows us to machine, bore or drill any size main frame or
machine chassis. The picture shows a 14BU Loading Machine Shovel being machined.
Above it is a Longwall Head Drive Frame in process.

With
3 additional, Table Type, Boring Mills we are able to machine or repair
manufactured items and components such as: Auger Heads, Tram Cases, Longwall
Drivetrain, Gearcases, etc. Pictured on the right is a 14 CM Auger Head Gearcase
being refaced and the bearing fits being rebored.
Five
Engine Lathes of various sizes give us the capacity to turn up to 48"
diameter and 120" length. 32" Lathe shown, machining a gathering head
disk.
